What a year, what a month so far. It seems like only yesterday that Leanne and I were planning last Christmas and here we are again.
Charlotte is all excited about Santa, Sarah is getting ready for the big move to to Queensland (remember to speak slowly), Lisa is working 12 hour days, Gerard is working just hard as well and Leanne & I are in need of a much needed break - BALI here we come.
And because two young ladies love Justin Bieber so much I had to include this.
We had to try and add some video of our Christmas lights. It’s really quite hard to capture them but we think this video will give you some idea of the what we have done.
And to continue the theme of slightly different Christmas songs – let’s go for U2.
What a great event made even better (in our eyes) by Charlotte’s presence in the lead off group. Despite a very hot morning the parade was fantastic and in particular the Krissie Westwood girls were awesome. A big thanks to Uncle David for providing cold drinks to revive us after the pageant.
We also couldn’t resist adding another Xmas Carol, this one sung by the one and only “The Boss”.
Here we are again, Christmas presents to buy, Christmas Carols to download and what seems like thousands of lights to install all over the house and it’s all worth it just to see the smile on one particular 8yo girls face. We can’t wait for the Christmas Pageant either as charlotte is front and centre of that.
We hope everyone is enjoying this warm start to the silly season and thought that the song below is really what this time of the year should be about also a certain Declan McManus is one of Leanne's all time favourites.
WOW!! What a great night, well what we really should say is, what a great few days leading up to the wedding of the decade. Lunches, dinners and pampering nights leading up to what can only be described as an awesome wedding and reception. I’m quite surprised that no one collapsed from exhaustion!
Sarah & Ashton were truly stunning and were clearly the best looking bride and groom – ever.
Leanne & I would like to thank every one for attending and sharing this very special moment with us, it was a truly beautiful and inspiring night.
We have uploaded some of the photo’s to FB but over the next few days I will be creating a series of galleries on our web site where I will try and create some order out of a rather large number of photo’s. We’ll email you links and passwords ASAP.

Charlotte’s number one event of the year. We are pretty certain she had the time of her life today, with lots of rides and show bags, what an awesome day. See the pics below.
Well the title nearly says it all. What was to have been the wedding of the year 2012 is now the wedding of 2011 and Lisa is now officially a home owner.
An early overseas deployment for Ashton meant either a delay for the wedding or bringing it forward and who has ever heard of the bride to be accepting a delay! Sarah And Lisa are working overtime, bringing the big event forward and I’m sure it’s a going to be one fantastic wedding.
Obviously Lisa has watched too many home renovations TV shows, because she is now the proud owner of a ‘reno” special. We are Bloody proud of you darling. I’m looking forward to seeing the reno delight when it’s finished.
Well maybe not just yet, but it's not far away. Charlotte makes her debut as a model this weekend and she is the "STAR" of the show. Not our words but those of her teacher and mentor.
She is a natural (my words) and will be making her catwalk debut at a major industry function wearing of all things a Wayne Cooper outfit. We will post some pics and vids as soon as possible. And here are the pics and video, (more @ our web site) with Charlotte in said Wayne Cooper outfit.
Charlotte and I snuck down to the beach to see what it would be like in winter. WOW! Seaweed and Cuttlebone all over the beach.
It’s always a little nerve wracking for parents and kids on report day, and as it turned out we had no reason to be nervous.
Charlotte has had an excellent first semester, she has worked so hard on all of her subjects and we are incredibly proud of her and the results she has achieved.
Charlotte packed one of her favourite stuffed animals, Patrick to keep me company on my recent trip to Acmeda in Melbourne. Check out his travels below.
Just back from a fantastic camping trip down South, we stayed at Taunton caravan and camping park and had a great time but not nearly as good a time as Charlotte. She made a whole bunch of new friends and played non stop in the playground which was superb and got to feed the animals every evening.
Although it was a cold weekend we managed just fine and visited quite a few of the wineries as well as all the kids and not so little kids favourite the chocolate factory, see below.
Why oh why is it always freezing cold for kids sports. We’d like to say that he had a win but alas that wasn’t to be. Anyway here is a quick video of the game below, with more pics and videos on web site.
After a huge amount of work Charlotte was today awarded an merit certificate. We are extremely proud of her as she has worker harder than ever to achieve some outstanding results.
Well nearly the end of an era, it’s Lisa's final day as an apprentice. I can not say how proud we are of her. She has shown a level of commitment and determination that is rarely seen today.
Lisa, we are incredibly proud of this achievement. There will be many more through out your life, but take some time to savour this moment.
What a stunning debut. Charlotte’s first game of netball was also an awesome win, 8 – 1 and she played a fantastic game. Look out for her in the Opals in a few years. Check her form out below.
We had a fantastic Mothers Day picnic at John Forest with, Gerard & Jasmine, and Lisa.
We all enjoyed a great walk to the Hovea Falls,with Gerard, Leanne and Charlotte the only ones brave enough to walk across railway track spanning the now dry creek. Pics to follow.
Yes, we did actually go camping and enjoy it. What a weekend, swimming (yes the water was warm), fishing, the Tree Tops Walk, Tingle Forest and yes the most important thing the Easter Egg Hunt.
We even made it to the Dawn Service!
We would like to wish everyone a very happy and safe Easter. It’s been a while between posts so maybe a quick update, we've had a nice vacation in Bali, and worked incredibly hard. Now its off to Albany on a camping trip.

It’s that time of the year again and we are really looking forward to this years concert – Roxy Music.
Should be an awesome night with great food and some of the worlds great wines to taste.

Yes, its that time of the year and I think Leanne was looking forward to some rest, but with a routine that includes not only work but getting Charlotte to her various activities including, tennis lessons, cricket training, cricket games, school and modelling no wonder she’s looking forward to a break.
Life is not only incredibly busy but astonishingly exciting and vibrant. Boy it’s amazing what having an active child can do.
