Charlotte’s 9th Birthday

What an exciting day for all of us. Glamour ten pin bowling followed by an exclusive reception in a VIP only area at the Galleria – OMG. Topped off with a spending spree in Gloss.

Charlotte was spotted wearing a purple feather boa and tiara accompanied by a coterie of young ladies all sporting similar attire.

Charlotte’s big sister Lisa was the hit of the party, attracting a lot of admiration and attention from some very impressed little girls who hung off her every move and arm.

 

The lead up to Australia Day

I’m not sure when Australia Day became as big as it is, I know that back in the good old days it was nothing like it is now.

Full on commercialism reigns, and we are full on participants in this commercialism, Charlotte has the all the gear, Aussie rashie, hat, thongs and shirt and Leanne and I have finally succumb to it as well and now have Aussie shirts and caps. I don’t know how we are going to get all the stuff into the car for our camping trip. Where will it all end?

And I guess we should add some “Aussie” music again.

Summer and Australia Day

The temperature is soaring so Australia Day can’t be too far away. Leanne, Charlotte and I are heading off to Bunbury for a few days and will be celebrating Aussie day down there.

Bali

We’re back from another very relaxing trip to Bali, where we had a fantastic time, relaxed a lot, met some really great people, hi to our new friends in Japan, China and Holland, I’m sure we’ll all meet up again.
Bike rides in Sanur, snorkelling in Padang Bai, relaxing at Nusa Dua and drinking Sake at Nusa Dua
Leanne and I hope that all of our family, friends and colleagues had a great New Years and that 2012 is a prosperous and healthy one.
We would also like to thank every one you who touched or impacted our lives in a positive way in 2011. Also a special congratulations to Jamie & Annemarie who have just had their second child.

Tahun Baru

And so this is nearly Christmas

What a year, what a month so far. It seems like only yesterday that Leanne and I were planning last Christmas and here we are again.

Charlotte is all excited about Santa, Sarah is getting ready for the big move to to Queensland (remember to speak slowly), Lisa is working 12 hour days, Gerard is working just hard as well and Leanne & I are in need of a much needed break - BALI here we come.

And because two young ladies love Justin Bieber so much I had to include this.

We had to try and add some video of our Christmas lights. It’s really quite hard to capture them but we think this video will give you some idea of the what we have done.

2011 Christmas Pageant

What a great event made even better (in our eyes) by Charlotte’s presence in the lead off group. Despite a very hot morning the parade was fantastic and in particular the Krissie Westwood girls were awesome. A big thanks to Uncle David for providing cold drinks to revive us after the pageant.

 

 

 

 

We also couldn’t resist adding another Xmas Carol, this one sung by the one and only “The Boss”.
